Sunriver Resort started the Sunriver Marathon for a Cause event 6 years ago which is a fundraiser to benefit the Central Oregon St. Charles Cancer Services. I would so do this race again.
At the Sammamish race, I was worried about rain, so decided to try something new – wear a pair of wool socks. Not a good idea, and got blisters going 13+ miles.
One event down on the road to Ironman. The Half-Marathon is a one way 13.1 Mile run that starts at Redmond Town Center and finishes at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah.
