In 2015, I decided to do my first Ironman. As popular races sell out, planning and registration needs to start a year before. In November 2015, I flew to the race and became familiar with the location and observed the race. I signed up to race November 2016.
I am a project manager, and this event was one major project management task between working, family, and training. I started training in January 2016 with a variety of events and races leading up to the November 2016 race.
